KEM is the the epitome of if you know you know. I remember him opening up for  me in Detroit and the percussionist in his band asked me what I thought about him. I replied “he’s a star”. As a artist its easy to spot someone special I saw it right away. That was the last time he opened up for me! He once asked me after a show how I felt about the audience I replied ”Nobody booed and if this check don’t bounce I think its a great night”. Its the only time seen him truly Laugh and loud!!!
